Invasion Colchester is back for another year of film, fun, and fundraising – and Culver Square is right at the heart of it!

This much-loved town-wide event brings the community together to support St Helena Hospice, Colchester & Ipswich Hospitals Charity, and Mind (Mid & North East Essex) – three incredible charities providing vital support to local people.

Here’s what you can expect at Culver Square:

• Take a photo with legendary film & TV cars.
• Take a look at the interactive prop stands.
• Say hello to a variety of characters – from superheroes to sci-fi stars, fantasy favourites and more.
• Dress to impress and take part in our family-friendly fancy dress contest, with great prizes to be won.
• Get your picture printed and framed on the day for just a £2 donation – a perfect memento from the event.

Fancy Dress Competition

Bring your costume and join the fun! We’ll be awarding 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes in each age category, so head to the Dino Marquee and get ready to impress.

Timings:

11:00am – Ages 4 and under

12:30pm – Ages 5–8

2:00pm – Ages 9+

No need to register – just turn up in your best outfit, there are some fantastic prizes are waiting for the winners!
