News — Culver Square Awarded Community Safety Accreditation Scheme

 

On Thursday 29th June 2023 Culver Shopping Centre became the first Shopping Centre in Colchester District to be accredited under the Community Safety Accreditation Scheme (CSAS) and have joined 36 other Accredited organisations in Essex who have low end policing powers supporting the communities of Essex and contributing to reduce crime and tackle anti-social behaviour.

Dace Robertson, Centre Manager said “I’m immensely proud of the team here at Culver Square, they consistently excel in supporting the shopping centre and our retail partners. CSAS has been a journey which they have all embraced and is another example of their dedication towards developing their knowledge and skills. ”

The team partner closely with Essex Police not only with CSAS but with Project Servitor and joint training exercises to make Culver Square safer for our local community and visitors. The Culver team would like to add a huge thank you to Essex Police in supporting their application for CSAS and the excellent training that comes with this accreditation.
